How to care for your new hoop

Since a lot of love goes into making our hoops we know you're going to want them to last as long as possible. Here are some top tips for looking after your hoop!
  • Bare polypro hoops are particularly prone to damage. Polypro tubing is much more fragile than beginner HDPE material, and needs to be looked after with care to prolong its lifespan.

Choosing the right size hoop for a beginner

When picking out your very first hoop it is important to choose the right size and material. As a general rule, the bigger and heavier the hoop, the slower it moves and therefore easier to keep up. That is why Éire Hoops makes all beginner hoops in MDPE or HDPE material which is the heaviest tubing type and sizes range from 38 to 40 inches which is on the larger scale that hoops come in.
