Returns & Warranty
CHANGE OF MIND:
Before order is shipped:
You can cancel an order by notifying me before it is shipped.
After order is shipped:
Pre-Made Hoops: If you change your mind on your hoop after it is shipped you can try refuse the delivery of the item with the post/courier (this is at their discretion & not guaranteed). If you accept the delivery and change your mind after, you can return your order for a full refund (excluding shipping costs) by notifying Éire Hoops 14 days from the date you received the item. I will reply to you with a returns acknowledgement and the postage address to send the hoop back to. You then have a further 14 days from the date you receive my acknowledgement email to return the item. I cannot accept returns outside of this period. You are responsible for checking your email/spam & junk folder and ensuring you return your items within this strict deadline.
During this time, it is your responsibility to look after the item. Upon receipt, items will be inspected for damage. This means that if the goods are scuffed or damaged in any way as a result of you handling them beyond what is necessary to check the features, functionality, characteristics, fit etc, you may have to pay for part or the full cost of the item or the goods will be returned to you. Tip: Make sure hoops are wrapped appropriately for Post/Courier.
Custom made/custom sized hoops: Hoops that are made to your custom specifications are excluded from the cooling-off period and are not eligible for returns.
Refunds will be made on the same credit card or debit card that you made initial payment on only.

DAMAGED/FAULTY ITEM:
Damaged in transit:
If you receive goods which have been damaged in transit, I will be happy to replace the item at no cost to you. If this happens please:
- Refuse to accept delivery of the item OR
- Sign the delivery note stating the goods have arrived damaged/send me through a picture of the damage showing how it has been damaged in transit.
Please make sure to contact me within 7 days of receipt. I will then provide you with the details of a replacement item.
Faulty/Damaged Product:
If you find the hoop you received was faulty, I can either replace or repair it at no cost to you. If this happens please contact me within 7 days of receipt of the item with pictures of the fault/damage. I will send you a returns acknowledgement email with all return instructions. The return must be made within 14 days of receiving my returns acknowledgement email.
Please try to return the item appropriately packaged to see if it can be easily repaired. Where a hoop cannot be repaired, I will send you a replacement item as soon as possible.
For any returns of items that have proven to be faulty, I will refund any carriage charges incurred by you (to a maximum of our standard delivery charges), however, I reserve the right to nominate the carrier for any returns by you.
Any refunds for faulty items will be issued within 7 days of resolution of the matter (or quicker if we can).
Refunds will be made on the same credit card or debit card that you made initial payment on only.

WARRANTY
Under normal use and the correct care, hula hoops can be expected to last between 6 months to 1 year, a lot of the time much longer than this. Due to the drops, falls and scrapes hoops normally go through, tape deterioration is expected to happen and this is not covered under warranty. Travel and Sectional hoops are expected to last a little less than this due to the stress they go through constantly being folded down, however expect them to last for at least 6 months. If you have a problem with your hoop within 6 months of purchase please get in touch to discuss.
The warranty does not cover obvious damage caused by abuse/misuse of the hoop, water damage, kinked or broken tube (due to aggressive hooping or attempting to coil down the hoop too small for storage), heat damage (exposure to heat when the tubing is collapsed can cause the tubing to warp and should be avoided). Polypro that breaks when used aggressively in extremely cold weather is also not covered under the warranty.
